Terms & Conditions
What UpLift Me promises, what it doesn't, and what's expected of you.
The short version
UpLift Me is a tool to support your goals — it can't guarantee you'll achieve them. That part is still up to you.
AI-generated coaching is based on your logged data but can occasionally be inaccurate, generic, or miss context — use your own judgment alongside it.
UpLift Me is not medical, financial, or professional advice, even when a goal touches on health, money, or wellbeing.
Subscriptions are billed and managed through the App Store — you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime in your App Store settings, and refunds are handled by Apple.
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using UpLift Me in any way, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree with them, the app isn't the right fit for you, and we'd ask that you not use it.
Eligibility
UpLift Me is intended for people aged 13 and older, consistent with the Children's Privacy section of our Privacy Policy. By creating an account or using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
User accounts
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for anything that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us as soon as possible.
- The information you provide when creating an account should be accurate.
- You're responsible for one account per person — see Acceptable Use for the full policy on impersonation and account sharing.
What UpLift Me is
UpLift Me is a goal-tracking app that helps you log progress toward your goals and generates coaching — nudges, summaries, and insights — based on what you've actually logged. By using the app, you're agreeing to these terms.
What we don't guarantee
We want to be direct about this rather than let it be assumed:
- We don't guarantee you'll achieve your goals. UpLift Me is a tool to support consistency and reflection — the effort, decisions, and follow-through are yours.
- We don't guarantee the app is free of errors or interruptions. Like any software, bugs happen and features can occasionally be unavailable.
- We don't guarantee AI-generated content is always accurate. See the section below — this is important enough to explain properly rather than bury in a single line.
AI-generated content limitations
Your daily nudges, weekly summaries, Goal Health reads, and chat responses are generated by an AI system based on the goals and logs you've entered. This coaching is designed to reference your actual data rather than invent facts about you — but like any AI system, it has real limitations worth understanding:
- It can be wrong. Occasionally, a nudge or summary may misread a pattern in your data or phrase something in a way that doesn't quite fit your situation.
- It doesn't know context you haven't logged. If something important about your week isn't reflected in your logs, the AI has no way to know about it.
- It isn't a substitute for professional judgment. Coaching from UpLift Me is general encouragement and pattern-spotting, not tailored professional advice — see the next section.
- It can occasionally be repetitive or generic, particularly early on when there isn't much of your own history for it to draw from yet.
If a piece of AI-generated coaching seems clearly wrong or concerning, use your own judgment over it — the app is meant to support your decisions, not replace them.
Your responsibility
You're responsible for the goals you set, the accuracy of what you log, and the decisions you make — including decisions informed by UpLift Me's coaching. This matters especially for goals that touch on health, fitness, finances, or mental wellbeing:
- UpLift Me is not medical advice. If a goal involves your physical or mental health, consult an appropriate professional rather than relying on app coaching alone.
- UpLift Me is not financial advice. If a goal involves money or investments, the same applies.
- UpLift Me is not a substitute for therapy, coaching from a licensed professional, or medical care.
User content
The goals, logs, notes, and any other content you create in UpLift Me belong to you. We don't claim ownership over what you write or track — we store and process it to run the app and generate your coaching, as described in the Privacy Policy, and for no other purpose.
Acceptable use
Using UpLift Me responsibly means agreeing not to:
- Attempt to access another user's account or data.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the app's underlying systems or AI prompts.
- Use the app to store or generate illegal content.
- Attempt to overwhelm or abuse the app's systems (for example, automated excessive requests).
- Impersonate another person when creating an account.
Intellectual property
The UpLift Me app, its design, branding, and underlying software belong to us. Using the app doesn't give you any ownership over these — you're licensed to use the app itself, not granted rights to its code, design, or brand assets.
Account & availability
UpLift Me offers a free plan alongside paid subscription tiers — see Subscriptions below for details. Like most software, the app may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control, and individual features may change or be temporarily unavailable.
Subscriptions
UpLift Me offers a free plan and three paid subscription tiers — Lift, Boost, and Soar — each available on a monthly or yearly billing cycle. Full current pricing and what's included in each plan is published on the Pricing page, which reflects the actual, in-app subscription terms.
Paid subscriptions are billed through the App Store and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Switching between monthly and yearly billing, or between tiers, takes effect according to the App Store's standard subscription-change rules.
Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's refund policy, not by UpLift Me directly — you can request one through Apple. Your goals and history are never deleted if a paid subscription lapses or you move to a plan with a lower active-goal limit; you simply won't be able to create new goals beyond your current plan's limit until you upgrade again or archive some.
Changes to the service
We may add, change, or remove features over time as the app evolves. We may also update these terms — if a change is significant, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you inside the app.
Account suspension
We may temporarily suspend access to an account where we reasonably believe it's necessary — for example, to investigate a suspected violation of the Acceptable Use section above, to protect the security of the service or other users, or to comply with a legal obligation. Where it's practical and appropriate to do so, we'll aim to let you know.
Termination
You can stop using UpLift Me at any time and permanently delete your account and data from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms — in particular the Acceptable Use section — or where we are required to by law. If we terminate an account for a serious or repeated violation, access to the app and the content stored in it may be lost.
Disclaimer of warranties
UpLift Me is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any coaching, insight, or result it generates will be accurate, complete, or suited to your situation. Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UpLift Me and the people who operate it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goals, progress, or profits, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the app — even if we have been advised of the possibility. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or a nominal amount. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
Governing law
UpLift Me is operated by NSK Software Solutions. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. This does not deprive you of any protection you're entitled to under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country you live in.
